No fixing required, the mesh guard, via two top slots, sits over the glass frame tabs, with the lower section secured in the same channel that holds the glass front.
Please note: The mesh will still get very hot. If you are wanting to stop young hands from getting near the fireplace we would recommend a fire guard in front of the fire.
Can be purchased as an accessory when ordering the Linear. Ideally, the guard will be fitted during the installation of the fire, but could also be retrofitted.
