FAQs

An electric continuous hot water system provides hot water on demand without a storage tank. It heats water as it flows through the unit using electricity, making it energy-efficient and space-saving. Unlike traditional storage-based water heaters, it offers endless hot water whenever you need it.

Electric hot water heaters do not constantly run. Electric continuous hot water systems only operate when there is a demand for hot water, heating it on demand. This makes them more energy-efficient compared to traditional tank heaters, which maintain a constant water temperature in a storage tank. By only heating water when needed, electric hot water heaters save energy and reduce utility costs.

Instant electric hot water systems, also known as electric tankless water heaters, offer several benefits that make them a good choice for households with 3-phase power. They provide hot water on demand, eliminating the need for a storage tank and saving space. These systems are energy-efficient, as they only heat water when needed, reducing energy consumption and utility costs. Additionally, they offer an endless supply of hot water, making them ideal for households with high hot water demands.

An electric continuous hot water system, also known as an electric tankless water heater, typically lasts 15 to 20 years. The longevity of these systems can depend on factors such as the quality of the unit, proper installation, regular maintenance, and the quality of the water supply.

To operate, water must fall within specified resistivity and conductivity limits. Town water supplies will generally be acceptable but other water supplies should be tested.
