For all new cylinder installations that cite G12/AS1 as a method for compliance with the NZBC, a safe tray (drip tray) is now a mandatory requirement. This came into effect from 01 January 2017.
ABS plastic is an ideal rust resistant safe tray solution. The raised dimples provide further protection from rusting if leaks or rusting of the cylinder case occurs.

Please note: The cylinder comes with a pre-drilled tundish opening (tundish is not supplied).
The square ABS plastic trays are suitable for all Rinnai cylinders up to 600 mm in diameter. This includes all Rinnai indoor residential hot water cylinder models, and Rinnai mains pressure indoor/outdoor 90 L, 125 L, 180 L, and 215 L.
The teardrop ABS plastic tray is suitable for Rinnai cylinders up to 488 mm in diamter.
