Water Heating Systems:

There are two key points to consider when assessing the best water heating system.

  • How much a particular form of energy costs to heat your water (running costs)
  • How much it costs to buy and install the system that will use this form of energy (purchase and installation costs).

The savings calculations Rinnai have calculated are based on the energy costs to heat your water (running costs).  These costs exclude installation costs and up front purchase costs.

  1. The calculations are based on independent energy consumption data from AS 4232 and heat loss data derived from the BRANZ HEEP program. Comparative electric cylinder was 180 L in capacity.
