After receiving guidance from the Ministry of Business, we are operating as a supplier of products for essential services work within the Building and Construction sector. We are organised to continue to supply products as required for the maintenance and replacement of hot water and essential heating to the home.


Our office staff are working from home and our manufacturing division is being shut down through the level 4 period.

Our accounts team, customer services and dispatch functions will remain operating at a lower level to process any orders we receive under the essential services operations.


How we will function during the level 4 period:

    • All Non-essential elements of the business are shut down.
    • Customer services are available to contact between 8.00am and 4.00pm. Emails are preferred at this time as our remote phone solution is not as connected as usual. Please email info@rinnai.co.nz.
    • Technical advice helpline for the Trade will continue to be available as usual.
    • Accounts will remain operational at reduced levels to process essential services orders.
    • Dispatch will remain operational to supply essential services products and spare parts for repair and maintenance.
    • Freight - We have confirmed that we will have freight services available for all areas and freight types. This will be a bit ad-hoc but will still function, albeit with limited capacity.
    • Customer collections - We have some Auckland based customers that collect appliances and parts from our Auckland warehouse. We have organised skeleton staff to assist us during this period.


We have put in place additional sanitary and distancing measures to ensure the few staff remaining on sight are complying with the ministry of health guidelines for isolation and hygiene.


Please rest assure that Rinnai will continue to supply products as required for the maintaining and replacing essential hot water and heating to New Zealand homes.
