Travel & Accommodation costs

The Service Centre is responsible for travel and accommodation for their staff. We recommend the IBIS Budget hotel Auckland Airport due to its location to Rinnai.  Click here for the IBIS website.


Course is ideal for:

Service Agent staff who are regularly required to service or repair Rinnai INFINITY’s and Energysavers.

This course is entry/medium level and is not suitable for experienced professionals.

Pre-requisites:

  1. Completion of the Rinnai online training course “INFINITY Maintenance
  2. Able to use a multimeter.

How to apply:

Applications on this form will be received up until 9 November 

Minimum and maximum numbers per course

The course will have a maximum number of 8 people to ensure quality learning & discussion. If there are less than 6 registrations the course may be postponed or cancelled.

What is provided

In addition to providing the free training course, Rinnai will provide lunches, and airport and hotel transfers**. 

(** if within 5 km of the airport or Rinnai)

Will the course be assessed?

Yes, by practical observation and theory assessment


A certificate will be issued. Results are sent directly to the company.

How many people can attend from the same company?

Only where the course is not full will we allocate spaces for two or more people from the same company. If completing more than one registration, please indicate which staff member should get preference.

Tuesday 28 November

Rinnai INFINITY’s

  • Introduction and parts identification
  • How INFINITY’s work including safety devices
  • The start-up process
  • Fault diagnosis
    • Connecting and using a Compact and Bathroom deluxe controller for fault diagnostics. Error codes
    • Using the Operational flow chart and time chart from the Service Manual
    • The 6 most common faults and how these are diagnosed and repaired
    • Gas type conversion
    • Commissioning
    • Assessment


Specifically excluded from content:  Regular servicing & maintenance.  Participants will have completed the Rinnai online course INFINITY Maintenance before this practical course.
