Travel & Accommodation costs

The Brivis Service Centre or Dealer is responsible for travel and accommodation for their staff. If overnight accommodation is needed, we recommend the IBIS Budget hotel Auckland Airport due to its location to Rinnai.  Click here for IBIS website.

The course is ideal for:

Brivis Service Centre / Dealer staff who install and commission Brivis DCH systems.

This course is entry/medium level and is not suitable for experienced professionals.


There are no pre-requisites

Applications on this form will be received up until 29 September.

Minimum and maximum numbers per course

The course will have a maximum number of 8 people to ensure quality learning & discussion.  If there are less than 6 registrations the course may be postponed or cancelled.

What is provided

In addition to providing the free training course, Rinnai will provide lunches, and airport and hotel transfers**. 

(** if within 5 km of the airport or Rinnai)

Will the course be assessed?

Yes, by practical observation and theory assessment

A certificate will be issued. Results are sent directly to the company.

How many people can attend from the same company?

Only where the course is not full will we allocate spaces for two or more people from the same company.  If sending in more than one registration, please indicate which staff member should get preference.

Ducted Central Heating Systems


The course will be facilitated by Rinnai NZ staff.

The primary focus is to cover the knowledge and skills to install and commission a Brivis DCH System including ducting & control systems.

This is an intensive 1-day course starting at 8:30 and finishing at 5 pm.

  4. Qualifying customers’ expectations
  5. Installation
    1. Furnace
    2. Flow and return ducting
    3. Return Air Grilles

    5. Jointing and strapping
  6. Commissioning
  7. Handover & training



Note: this course does not cover zoning or commissioning a system which has zoning.  This subject will be available as an online module later in the year.
